re: Best Wireless Fence For Large Dog

Posted by akimoto on 1/24/24 at 11:26 pm
We use Halo for our dogs on 3 acres. Our mutt has learned the boundaries and stay within it as long as she has the collar on even if it is dead. We use another one for our standard poodles and they are still learning, but it works for us. They are pricey though. ...
I still plug tires. I am 72 and have NEVER had a plug fail. Just sayin
I’ve plugged tires ever since I worked in my dad’s shop as a 12 yo too. I was surprised that the plug failed too. I’m 41 and he makes 70 this year. He doesn’t do tire repairs any more and will farm them out...

I've had a bunch of nails in tires that i left and didn't have problems, but I've also plugged a tire that I've lost the plug on while driving on Hwy 90. Plugs work, but a patch is the better fix. Depending on where you get your tires from, you should have warranty and they will fix your tires. I us...
Had my Tyger one for about 5-6yrs and it's just now starting to come unstiched on the edges. I almost never take the cover off anyway, but I ...

I use the ISOTunes brand. They make different models that are Bluetooth capable. Either ear buds or ear plugs that are wired and have magnets that keep them together and around your neck when not in your ears. I like them because they aren’t super bulky, but block out the sound. Great for in the wo...
Has this happened to anyone else?
Yes, somewhat similar to you. Citibank is the worst. I deposited $100k into their hysa after we sold our house a couple of years ago, but couldn’t verify my wife as a joint account holder, because I mixed up our new addresses. They gladly and easi...

We use Halo on our dogs for a 3 acre lot. The mutt we have won’t go past the boundaries if she has the collar on, regardless of it shocks her or not. Our standard poodle is hit or miss with his on. The collar is throwing error codes and still in the process of getting it fixed/replaced. ...

re: Moving pods

I did pack rat I believe where they bring you a pod with a cage in it and then they store it for you and bring to your destination. Probably a couple hundred s month for storage and then another couple hundred to move it. I can’t remember exact figures. The only downside is all the dust that collect...
I had the same issue. You have to adjust the flow. YouTube it and set the low flow where you want it.
Thanks for the tip. That was my only frustration about the stove. I guess I have some adjusting to do. ...

We have the 36”. The only thing I don’t like about it is the way the knobs adjust temp. It goes from start to high power and I guess medium heat with a positive stop to the medium heat. There is no positive stop for low and simmer options, so if you go too low your heat turns off and you have to rel...

We have the oven with range top, microwave, and hood vent. It’s been almost a year and no problems so far. re: Kids during grad school

It’s definitely doable as many people on this board have done it and people all over the world do it. The key is having a partner willing to make the same sacrifices to take care of the children. I started grad school with a new born and a two year old. We both worked full time while I was in school...
