LSU is the first team listed in "last four byes", just ahead of Ole Miss. I actually think there is a mistake since Boise St is an 11 seed and not listed anywhere. LSU should probably be off the list entirely (meaning they would be the last five byes). Looking good right now.

btw if we did make it to Omaha that would be great, that is a great place to be for a tourney, baseball or basketball. Lots of great things to do there while you wait for your game.

The 4 at large teams that are closest to playing in the first four.

There's 2 play in games (two 11 and two 12 seeds), then the first four teams NOT in those play in games are his first 4 byes hence they do not have to play a play in game, they are in.

Going by his rankings we are essentially the 8th to last team in the tournament, which is decent position. We are 100% with a win over aTm in the SECT, or even with a loss, it would take a few bubble busters to likely keep us out, which this year looks very weak on bubble busters.

ok. I think we are safely in but I would feel good if we could beat aTm. I would be shocked if we got left out.

Lot's of ball left to be played. Aside from LSU, I'll be most interested in the mid major conference tournaments to see what kind of cushion LSU will have. Norther Iowa knocking off Illinois State keeps a team who is not currently in the tournament out where as Belmont beating Murray State puts an extra team in.

They need to win a tourney game to keep their spot. If they lose they won't make it in.
I'd rather have them playing weak teams with no tourney byes, so they could pad the WL record.
The committee won't care they are an "x" seed.

would hate to be possibly matched up with 2 seed Wisconsin in 2nd round.

Belmont took Murray Stare spot, not an extra team getting in

No it doesn't, Murray State is not going to be in the tournament. That's a 1 bid league.

There hasn't been a bubble busted yet.

Murray State
RPI of 67, 0 RPI Top 50 wins, 1 RPI Top 100 win

And Mizzou, MSU and AU

Sucks, team should be comfortably sitting at a 5 or 6 seed or right now.

This bracket is onr man's opinion Not fact. Murray State was ranked 25 going into Saturday. So all of a sudden we don't need to worry about them because they lost their conference final? I hope you are right and they get the Drexel treatment.

It's most mens opinion. None of it is fact but stating Murray State is in is way more "out there" than stating they're out. They have zero resume.

Lol at your argument being they were ranked.

Their resume isn't strong enough to get them in by itself.

Yea just last year SMU was ranked in a much better conference and got left out. Committee doesn't care about the polls.

Human rankings have never meant a damn thing for the tournament selection process. RPI matters, their RPI is awful @ 67 and they not a single quality win on their resume.

I cant remember the last time a team with an RPI in the mid to upper 60s and had ZERO quality wins got chosen as an at large. They literally don't have a shot. Nobody is putting them in the tournament. They aren't even in the first four out, they are in the next 4 out and their season is over, aka they have no way of improving at all, they are toast.
