"I missed too many free throws. I make my free throws and we wouldn't be sitting here right now."

He went 16-20 from the line. Have to give it to the guy, he's one competitive dude.

I'd have to agree with him

Be more clutch.

I think its real close between him and Harden at the moment. LBJ making a great late push.

With Westbrook dropping his 4th straight triple double and Harden having to sit a game for being a poor sport, Westbrook could be taking a slight lead.

INB4 Rockettards tell me its Harden and it's not even close

He's definitely played at that level, but he can't overcome the number of games that he's missed.

Did Curry stop playing or something?

When is the last time someone has won MVP when missing 15 games? Don't bother looking it was in the 70s. Curry or harden will win.

I haven't ever seen a Rockets fan claim it wasn't close. The Thunder need to finish a lot higher for Westbrook to win it. He will be the frontrunner early next season in my opinion Westbrook was my preseason choice. He's been balling, but between the Thunder's record and the number of games he's missed, it's going to be tough for him to make the come back.

i support the "revenge of westbrook" for the year rose won it with similar stats to big russ, while big russ got no credit

now in all honesty, rose robbed howard (lebron should have won it but the media was anti-lebron that year), but people refused to realize just how close westbrook and rose were that year

The media has trouble concentrating on blowing two players on one team. They chose Durant early, and Westbrook has always been seen as second fiddle.

Wait, what? Curry is probably the most likeable MVP candidate off the court.

Curry just has do to deal with the issue of being on the West Coast and not playing for the Lakers. They just are on too late for a lot of people.

Glad to know I'm not the only person out there who doesn't find Curry likeable

Yea of course.

Curry does a little too much dancing on the court for my liking.

The MVP ain't coming from an 8th seeded team.

MVPs always go to players on teams with high seeds. I don't agree with it, but it's the way it is.
