Not looking to spend $1000 on a commercial boiler. Just looking to get a simple 80-100qt pot and burner. Kajun Kooker or Bayou Classic? Any other decent brands out there?

Was a thread the other day about some newer pots that had studs on the bottom to contain the heat underneath and boil in half the time. Maybe someone will chime in or link them

Sams (Metry) has a 100 qt in stock with lid and basket for $110. I can get the name brand if you are interested. Have two in my car for give-aways

I think I saw a double jet burner for sale with it, but didn't notice the price.

Restaurant Depot has some really nice big pots for a very good price. Winco is the name brand.

Go with a 100. Just to be more versatile .

Anything that holds water and won't rust or melt or catch on fire.

I use a beer keg with one end cut off and handles welded on.

Bayou Classic is a way thicker pot than the kajun cooker. 100 qt will give you room for a sack plus the extras.

Kajun Kitchen brand

You can see it here also, but it's sold out. They also have the rocket pots videos in case you want to compare. Rockets look like a good product, but I've never been around one in use. That drain looks pretty handy

you want a 100 qt so you can fit an entire sack and fixins with no problem.

I really think you should go and buy a 150 qt so that you can boil two sacks at a time. Makes life much easier. Saves on propane and time.

Cajun Rocket Pot hands down

Bring water to boil quicker & saves fuel......They're awesome.......have had a 100qt for couple of years....boil crawfish, cook gumbo & chili for competitions.

LINK

I think Home Depot carries them now.
