Woot woot!!!

It's time to end this bullshite.

Bullets are for hunting. The day I need a box of bullets to run alligator lines and I hear some arse talking about the 50k rounds in his closet that he's saving for whatever is the day we find out who can kick whose arse.

This is still hours worth of time and effort. Once again to each is own but my time is worth a lot more money than that. Honestly you probably wasted more time playing on the computer than the guy who waited at the store.

Not a single minute of it was spent in my free time. I did it all at work

However I am also willing to bet that you are only counting how much you made (gross) not subtracting what you spent from that (net).
i was counting profit only.

But like I said- I no longer agree with it. Won't do it again

You are exactly right, however most people don't understand that increased prices in a time of shortage are a GOOD thing. .

I'm buying bullets in bulk when I see them simply because I have a two year old son. I have no idea where this country is headed 10 years from now. If I were to die tomorrow, he's got a decent supply of ammo to shoot when he is old enough. If I'm here when he's old enough, we will both have plenty of ammo to shoot and enjoy our times together. I never imagined there would be an ammo shortage of 22LR in my 36 years on earth. I've seen it and will not let it happen again.

I bought him 5k of them for Christmas just because I could do so. My FIL also bought him 5k of them for Christmas just because he could do so. The kid has a lifetime hunting and fishing license along with numerous guns, ammo, and money set aside for him. I have five 22's and can't remember the last time I shot one of them, but do buy the ammo every time I see a good deal.

I'm not gonna enter the debate but will say...

... this statement is quite asinine.

Hey man

They're better used in my gun than your gun. Mine gets used for man work.

Ammo threads are interesting to me... as well as pistol, rifle and shotgun... probably bb guns and sling shots as well... being how I suck with bows and arrows I feel less of those would not bother me.
Oh, and more Kayaks... thanks for y'alls corporations.
Be safe in the woods yall.. (or swamps)

Don't really even know where to start. We can agree to disagree. When in Rome...

You should start by handling the above comment.

The only thing worse than bullet hoarders is kayakers

Kayakers don't bother me, but don't bother looking for me inside of one. I shop in the husky department and not partial to paddling anywhere.

How do you feel about bicyclists? My GAF meter doesn't register towards someone when I find out they are a bicyclist for some reason.

Jeezuz, dude, give it a rest. Face it, you dropped the ball when the getting was still good, and now you're upset. It's really poor form to whine about it.

I can agree with this statement. The difference is, you will never find me in a kayaker thread whereas you are in every ammo thread bitching about the same ole shite.

so where do you classify the hobby and competition shooters?

Myself and Kids are target shooters...practicing for competition and honing marksmanship skills...son will soon be on the LSA junior rifle team shooting at Palo Alto(Thank God they supply the Juniors Ammunition)

There were always competition and hobby shooters before panic buying. Hell, I used to shoot every weekend. I still didn't buy every box of .22 bullets I saw or keep mountains of it in my closet.

There was never an issue with the anmo supply before people started panic buying. For some reason after a nut job shot up a school it became blasphemous to let a box of .22 bullets sit on the shelf. I don't see the correlation.
