Good question Alx. My guess would be to make it easier to "cock". I would think it's easier to lift on a spiral ramp rather than a dead lift straight up. Or is it motorized to lift with gear boxes? I guess I should go to the other post and look at the youtube vid they posted.

Yes, yes it does. One person may be able to spin it right on up. Probably no way for one person to left the whole thing without some binding going on.

Because the pigs would just dig under and lift it up. They wont be able to do it with this design

It is probably remote activated by cell phone like the JagerPro traps.

It has a video game camera set up to send picture on your phone when there is movement. Then you can login in to the game camera and watch the video feed and sent a command to drop the cage.
