I personally have never had an issue with the lights that put on my vehicle. I can understand UTV/ATV use as there are times those lights just suck.

They're terrible. See them stuck in every hole possible on a front end plus up on the roof too. Stupid fad. Trashy looking

Somewhat related to the OP - I want to sell my non-upgraded black truck because of all the tacticool black trucks on the road these days.

Today in Shreveport I have spotted a late model beat up stock 4 runner with full windshield light bar and an exremely ragged early 90s Silverado, full lightbar with "certified redneck" across the windshield.

Small 12volt that sits on the deck; I think it's a 40amp.

I put them on our work trucks because they're great for when the guys get called out at night. We've had to figure out where to mount them though. You put them too far forward on the roof and they blind your windshield.

For about 100ft...yep.

But a hid setup would throw more light up close and shoot a half mile or more with the light housings.

I wish this fad would fade.

I'm pretty sure my light bar on my utv throws further an 100 ft. I personally think they are way brighter than HIDs. And yes, I cant stand when mall crawler trucks run them on the public roads and blind everyone.
