The ones on the hood may be the worst. Atleast the brackets for roof mounts go in the door sills and if you want to remove it you wouldn't even notice. All the ones I've seen on hoods are actually drilled/bolted through the hood.

I just bolted one to my mower.
Messed the belt up, by the time i got and installed a new one it was dark.
Since I had to finish... Light pod.

Actually passed an 18 wheeler on i10 with a light bar last week. He was running this instead of his headlights blinding the hell out of everyone.
