It really is a good deal for lunch. They have some affordable things and then there is the .25 martinis during the week.

Is that m-f or only Friday lunch?

I'll have dreams of that bread in the future.

You can make that bread at home very easily. It's delicious. This is pretty much the recipe. I have the cookbooks, but not handy right now to compare. I've made it often.

Thanks for the pics. I wouldn't worry about taking them regardless of with whom you're dining. It's a compliment to the restaurant. Commander's Chef Tory McPhail takes pics of his meals at other restaurants, in addition to meals from Commander's, and posts them to his Facebook page. I'm pretty sure he'd be okay with it.

So do some other chefs at well known restaurants which I follow. Here's Tory's post holidays burger at Port of Call.

Glad you enjoyed the shrimp henican. I've ordered it entree size several times. There's something about those flavors that are just so good.

Try brunch there sometime. Tory does a terrific job for brunch and it's served both Saturday and Sunday.

,you do realize that literally anyone with a checkbook can do all of these things...there is nothing exclusive about any of them.

If the OP wants to enjoy his experience and take pics, take pics.

Some people actually think to go to nice places you must act outside your normal...usually a very insecure person....be yourself, have fun, take pics, selfies, who cares.

I personally don't even take pics of my kids, much less my food.

Looks great!

Funny thing about food pictures though.

If you had posted those pictures and said you were at some random chain, people would have blasted them.

I love the sign. Totally old school.

So everyone is ok with a guy whipping his phone out in a top of the line restaurant to take pictures of his food? I'm flabbergasted
What do you think about the guys having their circle jerk beer pic thread everyday?

Every pic I click on in the OP says has a STOP sign you don't have authority to view that page.....Use your back button

Using a MAC.....that shouldn't be a problem should it?

As long as you don't use a flash it's not bad. I'm not even gonna notice

But one of the last times I went to a nice place we were in a semi private dining room, only three other tables and the bitch next to us kept snapping pics. I felt like it was fricking with the atmosphere

You took pictures of your food inside Commanders Palace? That is literally the tackiest thing I've ever heard. Whether in a private jet or in the end zone at the super bowl act like you've been there before

Haha.
Ok. Maybe you should eat out not often. Picture taking at a restaurant is fairly common place now. The only place in town I would feel awkward doing it is August. I stopped worrying about Commanders when I started seeing people strolling in with shorts on (not nice shirts).
