I really hate to see this show end. It has become my favorite comedy program. This season has been absolutely outstanding. They are definitely going out with a bang.

I've been dreading this day for quite some time. Hate to see such a brilliant show end.

Unlike The Office, Parks and Rec remained consistently funny for it's entire run, and at no point did my interest in the show dwindle. That obviously says a lot about the writing and how great the cast is. Losing Ron and Andy is going to be tough.

Side note - been watching a lot of Harris Wittels stuff since his passing last week. Forgot how much I loved Animal Control.

This is the saddest I've ever been about a show ending. I lost interest in The Office after Carrell left so that didn't faze me. The last couples seasons (and ending) of HIMYM were pretty awful so that I didn't feel bad about that one going off the air. P&R is one of the few shows that I enjoy every single cast member.

I'll probably end up like this tonight out of sadness...

When Seinfeld was going off the air, leading up to the final episode they had an hour long clip show special that ended with a montage of mostly photos set to Good Riddance. Got to admit I teared up at that.

Damn, I can't believe the end is here. So many great characters, episodes, etc. I agree with other that the only character that I hated is Craig. The writers/producers must have heard the feedback on how much people hated him, because I feel like they have toned down his screaming.

Although it was awesome when they did it last season, I kind of wish they would have saved the Lil' Sebastian hologram for tonight's episode.

Going to miss this show alot, will suck not having new Ron Swanson quotes weekly.

I will put season 2-5 vs any comedy (not named Seinfeld). Those season were top notch comedy.

Also the more I watch S1 and 2, I started to apperciate Mark Brendanawicz more and more. His looks at the cameras were always great and how he hated work so much.

This, and I hate to admit it but I have laughed at him a few times this season. He had a pretty funny exchange with Jerry

Some of my favorite scenes:

Just a little tooth pain...
Jerry at the doctor
Bowling with Tom
I'm just a puppy
mmm...that's a good shoe shine
What were you aiming at?
This is how you eat it....
Ann wasted
Snake juice!
I really didn't want to play

The snake juice episode is probably my favorite.

I hate that I can't find this scene on youtube (seems like they have tried to scrub all existence on Mark). It was one of the episodes where everyone started to realize how annoying Justin is. Paul Schenider's deadpan delivery killed it

quote:

Mark: I can't wait to talk to Justin again. Last time he told me about how he snorkeled with whale sharks in Madagascar. That was after I told him that I sometimes go swimming at the Y.

NBC keeps making shows I love and watch for years to finally get it ripped away from me. Seinfeld, Friends, Scrubs, The Office, 30 Rock, and now Parks & Rec. There are no more NBC sitcoms I find enjoyable. Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Modern Family, and New Girl are the only sitcoms remaining I enjoy. At least the last 3 should have 5 years at least remaining.

well I mean they all have to end eventually

P&R is 7 seasons, seinfeld was 9, weren't friends adn the office both about 10? Those are pretty damn solid runs for a sitcom.

That episode was great. He also told the story of when he was a kid and a fire, then he looked at camera and said it didn't happen to him but some other kid at camp and who cares he cant tell the story anyway.

True, but I am still never ready for it to end...except the Office. The British chick really soured me on the last couple of seasons.

I've missed SO MANY EPISODES, but I love this show.

I wish I could watch them all before the finale. You know its gonna be a good one... and a sad one.

The only person that I positively cannot stand is that fig who yells everything. Boggles my mind that the writers and creative people behind the show would green light that character. Not funny or redeeming in any way.

Yea I don't get this character at all. There were others I didn't like.... like Jamm for example...but that's because their character wasn't supposed to be likable.

That yelling fool I just don't get.

Andy and April may be my favorite couple in all of television.

Tonight will be incredibly sad.

I think it's so strong because each character is an exageration of the actor themselves. I've taken a strong liking to Jennifer Barkley. PONCHO!

There was another great line where he talks about a project where he got something lowered two inches. "Apparently what I can achieve in government can literally be measured"
