BMW 2002. Really any year. As soon as I have a barn, I will buy one as a project car.

Rust is the issue with these, unfortunately.

Love 'em though.

My step-dad has owned two #'s matching 1970 Chevelles, and I'd definitely get one if given the chance. Just got rid of forest green one last year for $85k and bought a blue 64 Vette. Previous Chevelle was a black cherry one with white interior, but an auto, that I liked a little more

Good point.

Real tough to lose money on a well-sorted classic car.

They ain't making more of 'em and restoration costs aren't going down.

Just don't confuse "rare" with "desirable" .
If they only made 37 Warbonnet Yellow Corvettes with green interior, it's b/c they were ugly.

Factory Five Racing 65 AC Cobra Replica. This is one of the better kit cars.

I've had a '73 Mustang and a '70 Cutlass 442, so been there-done that on the big American muscle sleds.

I'd probably go something much different, an early Porsche, BMW, M-B or Jaguar convertible.

I'd rather work on cars than drive them. With a Jag, that would come in handy.

Having an old car to me is like the two best days of boat ownership.

My neighbor has that exact black/gold Mustang. He bought the shell, and rebuilt it by hand, including the Hertz decal. He spent about 30K on the whole restoration doing as much of the work as he could.

Instead of the 930 you could get a 911 with the m491 package.

Not an OT Baller, would really like in no particular order:

'65-68 Mustang
'68-'69 AMX or later Javelin AMX
Gremlin X....yeah, I'm an AMC guy from way back

'65 F-100 or '48-'55 F-1
+/- '60 International Harvester Pickup or Scout

Hudson Hornet

I'd prefer a really clean, daily driver, not a show car.
