Here's some video links other companies have put out for recruiting to give you an idea. Some employee vids too.

Showed this to my son last night. He is a junior in high school. He is ready to leave for AK now.

I assume all jobs require 18 or older?

What a great way to spend a summer. He will be looking for this next year.

Thanks for the info.

I'm going on a cruise (Royal Caribbean) from Vancouver up to Anchorage in June. Advise/tips? We're looking at scheduling the excursions now. Also, we'll have a day in Seward and then a day in Anchorage on the back end of the trip before taking the red-eye back to Houston. Any advice there?

Edit: Wife and I are 31/32. We definitely like the outdoor and hiking stuff, and I'd really like to avoid the cheesy/touristy tours, if that's even possible with cruise excursions. Never been on one, so I'm not sure what to expect with them. TIA.

Yes. There is a company called Above and Beyond Alaska that does hiking trips to the ice caves below the glacier here in Juneau. I'd definitely give that a shot when you're here.

I'm not going to pimp my own tours here but if you want information for each port I can help you out. We're soft adventure, I think you're looking for more hard adventure.

Expensive, but if you can fly out to Pack Creek on Admiralty Island and see the brown bears. If you email your schedule I can help you out with some other ports..

Absolutely. It's an awesome summer experience for someone, particularly those inclined to do outdoors activities. Bookmark Coolworks.com. It's the go to site for summer jobs in the outdoors.
