What if LSU had thrown that pass in the Natty with Leonard in the backfield?

What if Miles doesnt call timeout with the Natty on the line with 1:02 seconds to go and TWO timeouts. He also has Mett that nite with a 75% completion ratio and over 300 yards already; lets throw in OBJ and Landry ( still not Brady but close enuf) and the best kicker in the NCAA at his disposal?

Let me know when Miles makes a Super Bowl, let alone 8 of them between Carroll and Belichick.

THIS.

It is a thinly veiled "let's draw up a make-believe scenario and make fun of Les Miles" thread. Sorry, OP, it has been done about 11 billionty times already.

Also, what is this "Natty" you speak of? Isn't it a bad beer from the 70's?

The Rant would go into meltdown mode; pitchfork and torches gifs would overload the TD servers.

I am no Miles pumper, but he would have run the ball and won the game in this situation.

Carroll and Belichick know a winning QB when they see one

I don't think we need to run through Les Miles hypotheticals, we have the real thing to critique

Well we know one thing - Miles would have run the up-the-middle toss to Fournette at the New England one yard line; or maybe off-tackle to Magee or Hilliard.

I agree with this. One of the three does not belong in this little quiz.

Yikes... are we really putting Miles in the same sentence as two SB winning HCs. We've officially jumped the shark.

Hell yes, I mention Miles with Pete Carroll. I wouldn't put any coach alive next to Belichek, though. Miles has been to two National Championship games. That's almost as hard as Super Bowls.

Carroll's Seahawks were .500 before he "saw" his winning QB in the 3rd round. Not saying the guy's not a good coach but let's wait a few years before we put him in Belichick's league.

He isnt comparing Miles to these coaches. He is pointing out that even the greatest football coaches on the planet make bad decisions. Our fans act like Miles.is the only one with these brainfarts..two nfl coaches ,that are regarded as geniuses, both made dumb decisions.
