I respect this move. Most honest press conference in all of the Superbowl media frenzy.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other...would be nice to hear his perspective on the game, but I guess he made himself "available" to the media without making any noteworthy comments.

Every time he does this, and EVERY TIME we start a thread about it, the terrorists win.

Would it really? What is Shane Vereen's perspective on the game?

Everyone has parts of their job they don't like. This is part of his job. Time to grow up.

He's going to take it one game at a time. He thinks they are a really good team that is well coached and they have a really good system. Everybody on his team is just going to go out there on the football field and try their best to do their job.

He shouldn't have signed the contract if he didn't like the demands. Must be a real pain the have to talk useless media types while being paid millions.

He keeps getting attention every time he does it.

The media once again rewarding people for their bad behavior.

They know he's going to do it. So why do they continue to stick microphones in his face instead of talking one of the 105 other people participating in this game?

Neither side wants to say it, but they are both getting what they want. He gets notoriety and he brands himself as "the athlete who takes on the media and the NFL." And media win because they have "created" another story out of thin air.

Feed the beast, baby. Feed the fricking beast.

I convinced my wife he's a good guy last night while we were watching the local news. They showed a clip of him saying that about not getting fined. I gave her the Sunday school version about the skittles and left out any mention of crotch grabbing and being fined.
