The Hawks are called Spurs East for a reason and neither team had a super star. So saying the Hawks need a Superstar is annoying

If the 03/04 Pistons took the floor this year at their current age, maybe.

That team was also just a perfect fit for that era.

Dude the Spurs have 3 hall of famers. When healthy Tony Parker is one of the most unstoppable players in the NBA.

That doesn't even take in to account that Kawhi Leonard was the Finals MVP and is a budding superstar.

Then you add their absurd depth. A guy like Splitter who is arguably one of the best post defenders in the league.

They are called Spurs East because they have a former Spurs assistant and play a similar style.

I will pick the Hawks because Bogut can't make free throws

63% isn't all that bad.

But he takes 0.9 Free throws per game. How is that going to be detrimental? You sound really fricking dumb right now

Those Suns teams ran into the Spurs every year in the playoffs. They were all tough, hard fought series. And the Suns would have beaten the Spurs and won it all in 2007(The year the Cavs got swept by the Spurs in the Finals) had it not been for fricking Robert Horry(Big Shot Bob) checking Nash into the score table. The Suns had a 3-2 lead in the Series and game 6 was at Phoenix but had to play without A'mare and Diaw I believe. Had they not been suspended, the Suns would have won game 6 and beat the young Lebron Cavs in the Finals.

Both have deep teams, but Warriors have the best shot to win it all. They have the firepower and starpower that the Hawks don't have that is needed to win a championship.

hawks have a better chance of making it to the finals because the warriors are going to have a harder road in the playoffs

At their current ages, the Hawks are no less talented than the Spurs.

hawks certainly have the better shot at the championship but the warriors are probably a better team

Just like most of us have said, if Golden State goes up against a team with a sizeable front court, they will lose. Chicago's duo of Noah and Gasol both recorded double doubles as they ended the Warriors home streak last night in OT.
