What team do you think is going to do better the rest of the season?

I think it will be the Warriors. Curry has been playing at a MVP level and Thompson is breaking out to the next level. They have one of the deepest benches in the NBA and as long as Bogut can stay healthy. I think that they have the best record in the NBA at the end of the season.

What do you guys think?

What does that mean? Better record? Probably the Hawks.

Overall better team? Warriors all day.

The East is so terrible, I would be surprised if the Hawks make the push for 70.

When push comes to shove the Hawks have no talent. They can't beat any of the good talented teams(Washington Cleveland or Chicago) and are very vulnerable to bad talented teams like the Hornets or Nets.

As for the Warriors its all about Bogut with him they are the undisputed favorite to win it all with out they can lose to anyone in the West

I doubt they do either, but we could still be talking about the possibility a month from now.

The Hawks run an awesome system, and they are playing some beautiful ball, but you absolutely need players who can step-up and individually dominate in the playoffs. In a seven game series, defenses have tons of time to prepare and adjust. And sometimes you just need individual players to dominate to get things opened up.

Can Teague or Horford do that for the Hawks? Possibly. I don't really see Korver being the guy. He is incredible at what he does, but he's not going to beat anyone in iso situations.

Just because I can see Steph Curry (and Thompson) going off in a playoff situation, I like the Warriors a little bit more.

That said, I will not be surprised at all if Golden State loses in the first round. All 8 West playoff teams could make a championship run. The Hawks should easily win their first round series.

The Hawks have two former all-stars and a PG that playing like one. Maybe you just don't know basketball?

for ATL's sake, I hope this isn't Denver from 2 seasons ago.

If both teams are 100% healthy, ATL has a better record at the end of the season, simply by virtue of a weaker schedule.

Both have probably already peaked at the level of basketball they can play.

Not really comparable in my opinion. That Denver team was the 3 seed and just a game ahead of the 4 and 5 seed. This Atlanta team has won 82% of their games.

In a 7game series, you're looking at GS 4-1

I'm not either...I don't like the Clippers as much as I did last year...OKC could get hot and go on a tear, but I don't like their supporting cast...the Rockets have Dwight Howard...if LMA playing through his injury causes him to not be 100% for the playoffs, that won't bode well for their chances.

I think the "West is wide open mantra" is starting to get a little bit overblown...any team could win their first round series...that is completely different than a championship run.
