It is living in a white supremacist society. His "outburst" was a mere reaction against such a discriminatory system.

If you believe in social justice, then praise this youth, don't condemn him. Condemn the white, ignorant, and bigoted "teacher" who thought it his prerogative to take and do as he pleases.

The era of privileged white men is ending. The era of tolerance, diversity, and multiculturalism has come.?

If they only had a chance for education...oh wait.

Seeing stuff like this makes my blood boil. The kid will probably just get a slap on the wrist due to the cockamamie judicial system and will be back on the streets in no time. If he's getting physical over a damn cell phone, then he's already a lost cause.

If the student is labeled as Special Education with a behavior or emotional disorder...he CAN'T be expelled for a behavior covered in his IEP or behavior plan. Additionally, he cannot miss more tha 10 days as a result of school intervention (suspension, asking a parent to check out the student to remove them from a situation,, in school suspension etc.). Administrators and teachers have their hands tied. Kids like this are basically not allowed to be disciplined. The big issue is that our police departments get to handle situations where the people they are dealing with still think they can get away with this type of behavior. Then it is taser time or worse and news coverage to the max. IMO, it is all tied together. I am all.for early childhood education. But I think it should be focused solely on how to properly act.
