They ran out early. Supposedly they did a good job... Lots of us around here wouldnt know, tho!

Wish i could have tried it. Was very surprised at the gumbo's served... Tried 12 of them, liked 4. Liked, as in I would serve at my house or re-order in a restrnt.

Several of them tasted like roux only, and many were too sweet. How many people put carrots in their gumbo? I tried 3 today that had hints of carrot in them? No thanks.

I voted for the folks w the hawaiian fas-grass wrapped inside their tent. #7 I think. My wife really liked the people beside the Paul Finebaum crew by the door of the taproom... Had green shirts on... Patrician Catering (#9 maybe?) or somethin another. My son voted for the 1st peeps on the right when u walked in... Young guys w super dark seafood gumbo. I liked the ones my wife voted for, sons vote was ok....

Jambo did a good job, had his ranked 2nd or 3rd out of the dozen or so I tried.

IMO, 3 of them seperated themselves from all the rest.

I did not, however, have a chance to try Marchands.

Carrots? Really? Damn....

my vote went to the first blue tent on the right, I think it was the one with the Hawaiian theme. I tried the middle two by the door and liked them both. The ones in the far corner from the brewery entrance weren't very good.
