I have some porcelain sectional plates that are round, but getting old. They have some cracks and chips. I'm always on the lookout for others that are deep. You know how I don't like my food juices running together. So I found these oval ones and ordered 8 of them. They arrived today. Terrific! Think I'm going to order 4 to 8 more. I'd love them in black, but these are quite nice and I like the oval shape. Most of the ones I've seen are simply not deep enough to stop those juices. For those of you who are like me, get these.

The write-up and descriptions make it sound like those plates were meant for you!

They do look nice.

Now you know that's not polite to ask. However she was married to VOR.

I fully expected several LOLs, Wise. I don't care! I love these plates! No loading the protein atop the starch or veggies. Picture roast and rice 'n gravy in the big section (those can be together), green beans or mustard greens in their liquor in the left well, macque choux in the right well. Nothing touching. No gravy in my corn or greens! No pot liquor in my gravy! A little side dish of cornbread probably wouldn't hurt. I mean, how can you not love these!!

Darla, they are ME for sure.

VOR robbed the cradle and couldn't keep up, plus he's got an affinity for pole dancers with missing teeth and such.

What in the hell does age have to do with this anyway? I like individual flavors not running together. It's marvelous!

I was thinking 7, but based on this new information, willing to bet Gris could smuggle some home after the next hip replacement.

I agree that you need 8 more. When you find just the right thing, it's best to have back-ups. Maybe that's just me.

I find it funny you have that pet peeve. I wasn't laughing at you but with you. The food that was pictured was too much.

ETA: looks like MDog made the dinner

Yeah, I am definitely laughing, but at my joy to have these plates.

Fightin', you're not being very nice, especially to someone who had to live with VOR for a short period of time. Long enough to get some nice hefty checks each month, though. I used some of that to buy my plates! You probably stir up all your food together.

Think of Thanksgiving! Turkey, gravy and dressing in that big well, spinach mad on the left, sweet potatoes on the right! Heaven.

Yeah, the food in the picture is just wrong. Bad marketing. I could use a regular plate for those foods.

Never met VOR, but he hangs out with Wise, so he is suspect.

What have you done GG?

I clicked on your link and now have an ad on the left side of my screen featuring your plates.

If you really wanted to be safe you could just used the styrofoam to go boxes. They have very high dividers.

GG , honest question...when you plate food for your guests on these plates, will you wear a hair net?

Can they get extra tots on request?
