I would not go that far. I still think at the end of the year Mizzou will be a bad loss.

But this was a good win. Geaux Tigers!!!

You know Ole Miss is pretty good, right? Any SEC road win is a good win.

12-4 Miami (who just destroyed Duke on the road) lost at home by 28 to Eastern Kentucky earlier this year.

All teams are going to inexplicably lose a game or two. It's just the way it is.

LSU will be fine. Just go 11-7 (the conference doesn't look horrible this year).

If LSU wins Sat vs Texas A&M, will we be ranked Mon SOS?
Depends on what other teams do. Someone around our ranking might knock off a top 15 team, pushing them ahead. We would be right around 25 though.

Gotta call BS on that one. They playd toe to toe with UK and beat up a pretty good USCE team. Their current RPI is 43. They will likely win at least half their conference games and make the NIT.

Johnny Jones and the LSU basketball program
He did a very good job with the substitutes in the first half. I don't know what happened in the second half. I think Mickey got a 40 second break. I don't think TQ came out after he was inserted in the first half.

If he likes to start the second half with a smaller lineup I would rather he started with Epps or Bridgewater at the 3 then bring TQ in off the bench.

There are two teams that are undefeated in conference play at this time. I'm not sure why our fanbase has difficulty understanding that basketball and football are not the same. Teams lose and winning on the road is extremely difficult.

They took UK to Overtime and were favored to beat us by 6. But yea, we may as well have beaten Southern University tonight.

Winning conference games on the road in DI men's basketball may be the hardest team sport feat to accomplish.

The SEC has gotten a LOT better in basketball than it was only 2 years ago. Kentucky has always been on the top but the rest of the league have really picked it up. You still have a lot of football fans who are casual b-ball fans... and they either haven't seen the SEC lately or mixed up Ole Miss and Miss State (who might be hot garbage).

Agreed. I'll gladly take 4-5 on the road in conference play.

Ole Miss took Kentucky to OT at Rupp and then man handled a very solid South Carolina team. Might want to get your facts straight...they are indeed a solid club.

He just wanted to use that dumb pump the brakes phrase and didn't bother with the facts.

Really??
Interesting..
I'm not a betting man, but I'd be willing to bet that I would've bet on LSU, knowing that.

here's my problem, and I've been a big JFJ fan from day one: why does LSU almost always end the game with 2-3 timeouts given its depth? With our depth, give these guys a breather for once better yet, don't pull a John brady and wait to call a timeout after a 9-0 OM run when you have 5 timeouts

regardless, I love the direction the program is going, and this was a very nice win
