Johnny Jones and the LSU basketball program

22-9, 11-7 in the SEC! Johnny Jones has won more games every year he's been here. Most wins than any LSU basketball coach in his 1st 2 years! 19 in his 1st year. 20 in his 2nd year. Gonna win more than 20 this year. And more than that next year with the 2 five star players we have coming in in Simmons and Blakely! This years team will make the tournament for sure. We have 5 players on this team that can score 20 pts on any given night. Mickey, Martin,Patterson ,Hornsby,Quarterman!

Definitely a promising start for Johnny. I am cautiously optimistic that bball is going to be back to a consistent NCAA tourney team very soon.

Ole Miss took Kentucky to OT at Rupp and then man handled a very solid South Carolina team. Might want to get your facts straight...they are indeed a solid club.

They are good shape, but still have much more work to do. Still inconsistent and turn the ball over too much. Lost to probably the second worst team in the SEC a week ago. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
