open up the offense or do you think Miles & Co. will stick to the same ground and pound philosophy?

When we had Mett, we passed the ball too much in my opinion. that tells you what I think.

ETA: I think Miller would be able to run what we are trying to run with Jennings...only he would be much better at it and complete more than 50% of his passes.

He just broke the school freshman rushing record with 1000+ yards.

He won't be "wasted" at LSU.

Mett was in the system for two years before he caught fire his senior season. These guys will be here for only one season. Mett had earned the trust of Miles over the years. You won't be able to say that about Miller or Golson.

We were not a fun and gun team much less a running QB team when Mett was playing. I do not believe LSU overhauls the whole offense for Miller to run the ball 15 times a game either.

Thats with a total lack of passing. Knowing how things change when we get a new toy (Golston or Miller, maybe), let's not forget Fournette is the man. Of course having a passing option will make defenses not have 9 men in the box...

You know you can still predominately run the ball while having an effective passing game, right?

I don't think Golson is near the talent of Miller. I think with Golson, we will see much of the same, but better executed.

The offense will be opened up more with Miller. It may take a few games, but by mid season, the offense would be tRant approved, IMO.

With that said, neither of these guys are coming to LSU

I am not too worried about the nd reject but Miller in your offense worries me. I would rather see him at auburn.

LSU is a run first team. it always has been. that doesn't mean we can't have a great passing game

Both those guys have already proven that they can be accurate and throw the ball playing big time college football, so my answer is yes. We would see a much more balanced an open attack. Thnk Miles has come to realize that he can no longer win just running, its just that one QB lacks the skills and the other needed to develop some this past season.

Why Auburn? Marshall was their O with his legs. Now they have JJ and gonna have to beat you with his arm, I think they drop off without a running QB

This, plus those QB's would probably never even see the field in favor of the new JJ 2.0
