re: How good of a pitching coach is Dunn? - Bayoufightingtiger
I hear ya. If he is consider a great pitching coach, then does he make the decision who to start and when to pull a pitcher? If he does make these 2 decisions, then I strongly question him as a game time coach. Seems like a pitching guru should make these decisions. ...

re: Is Bregman Unlucky? - Bayoufightingtiger
He is a pull hitter and teams pitch him inside and he fouls a lot of balls off. He pulls outside pitches and lines out a lot. Very good eye at the plate but average will always suffer a little with straight pull hitters. ...

re: Cole Kelly - 2016 Pro-Style Quarterback (Lafayette, LA - Teurlings Catholic) - Bayoufightingtiger
Not mobile enough to run the offense at LSU. Needs to work on his foot speed and mobility in the pocket. ...

re: No LB's this class, Do we go JUCO or keep some EE's for next yr - Bayoufightingtiger
That's why you always need guys like a DJ Welter on the team. Too bad he was a SR because we would need him moving forward....

re: We desperately need to flip a LB in this class - Bayoufightingtiger
That's why I said do whatever it takes. You just can't make contact in person. Hopefully our coaches are tweeting, texting, facebooking, instgraming, facetiming fools right about now to LBs....

Todd Kinchen is my pick. I know he was great but you don't hear the new generation ever mentioning him. He was a game changer....

re: Keke Mingo vs Arden Key - Bayoufightingtiger
Key is way more developed and physically fit. He is not a project like Mingo. Mingo was a safety who grew into the DE position. Mingo has the speed, but struggles getting off blocks. I don't think Key will have this problem as much since he has some pretty good moves....

re: Good article on Dylan Moses and Jervonte - Bayoufightingtiger
I have seen his dad play a lot in high school and he was a great player. Ed " Top Cat" Moses was one of the great players ever from New Iberia. BTW Kerry Joseph is younger and came afterwards. Corey Raymond, Van Ray Alexander, Verge Ausberry, Ed Moses and Leroy Etienne all played for New Iberia Seni...

re: Getting Shea Patterson will slam the door on the poor Qb days - Bayoufightingtiger
His football Smart's are needed more than his arm strength. His HS offense mostly requires short quick passes. I have seen him thread the needle with zip when needed. I have no issue with his arm strength. ...

re: Melvin Jones should have been a MLB from the day he stepped on campus - Bayoufightingtiger
I've seen all our current Louisiana LBs in high school and Kenny was more impressive. I'm not saying he should of played LB because obviously he was needed to be a RB plus that's what Kenny wanted to play anyways. All I'm saying is that he was the most impressive compared to the ones I saw play in h...

re: Melvin Jones should have been a MLB from the day he stepped on campus - Bayoufightingtiger
Kenny Hilliard was a very good hard hitting LB. He could of easily been the best LB at LSU. I've seen him in high school and he was very impressive. ...
