it's not that we need the greatest show on turf, we just need a competent QB who can make the passes needed to keep Ds from putting everyone in the box, and to convert third-and-more than 3 more often than not.
we did not have that this season and had to rely on the best stable of backs in the SEC to will their way to our wins and close losses.

Mett threw the ball 351 times his first year as a starter. We hadn't had a guy do that since 2007.
