Its been 24 hours since last dip. I dip 1.5 cans a day.

The E-cig is working. It stops the craving. I hit one draw about every hour or so. I don't sit there and smoke it like a cigarette.

Quit cold turkey about 2 months ago. I am now just getting past the feeling that I need a dip when doing normal things.

Been vaping for almost 1.5 years, maybe smoked a butt 2x since.
If you continue, get away from the cigarette sized units and invest in a larger battery/ tank, and change your coils often.
The disposables are not as safe for long term use.

But awesome for you, man!
Congrats.

Nicotine gum worked well for me.

The hard part though is stopping the gum.

E-cigs work but the ones you get at gas stations are shite. Got to an e-cig place and buy a real one, wwwwwaaayyyy better!

Good luck.

Happy you are trying to get yourself away from Pocahontas' Revenge.

I hate tobacco.

Except Cubanos.

Quit smoking last year in March. I tried the E Cig but that shite only made me want to smoke worse. So I just quit cold turkey and it was the easiest way. I feel so mich better these days being able to breathe normal again

I quit yesterday as well. I bought tons of hard candy over Christmas and popping in a licorice one every once and a while kills all cravings.

I lied to my SO about quitting for New Years. She still thinks I quit. It feels good to lie about something positive in my life.

I relapsed 6 months after I quit dipping the first time - 10 year habit.

I've been clean again since Oct 5. I've been using the Nicotine Lozenges which work pretty well. For some reason the gum gives me major hiccups. I've finally stopped using the lozenges over the past 2 weeks.

I still think about dipping every day

Me too! She thinks I quit smoking but when she passes out (which is often. She's a hopeless alcoholic) I smoke all of her cigarettes. The look on her face when she wakes up and realizes they are gone is priceless. It's so cute.

And if she's anything like mine, she'll black out and you can convince her that she smoked them. Dating tip: you can also convince her that she did a few other terrible/embarrassing things and use that guilt to get breakfast in bed or road-head later down the road.

Dating a chick with crippling alcoholism can be very rewarding. Doc says she's probably got about 18 months to live until the liver finally gives out but then I'm a single widower back on the prowl win-win.

So sad. I pray you were able to have children with her during your short time together. Because if you did, that's a lifetime worth of guilt tripping them.

Yes we have a beautiful baby girl who will unfortunately never make any memories with her mother before she passes. I'm a bit torn on the best way to bring her up though. I'm not sure if I should blame her for her mother's death or just reinforce the idea that I may not be her father. I think both would result in enough guilt, I just want to make sure she depends on me for approval which she'll never get. Being a father can be tricky some times.
