re: Catahoula Leopard dogs - TexasTiger1984
I've got 2...one is 10 years old and is truly catahoula-crazy. He's got major anxiety, always pacing & always whining. He's a good dog though, very sweet and listens well. I love him anyway but he's been around since before the wife, so she's not too fond. We have a second one that is 9 mont...

re: EDIT: Should employees be allowed unpaid leave if their work is covered? - TexasTiger1984
If someone is the ideal candidate for the job, choosing not to hire them because they have a vacation planned is stupid as hell. Sounds like something an out-of-touch old school white haired company president halfway on his death bed would do.
Couldn't agree more...

re: EDIT: Should employees be allowed unpaid leave if their work is covered? - TexasTiger1984
I've been in an interview where I was offered the position. I let them know that I had a family vacation planned a month after my start date. They said it was no big deal. If a company told me "sorry, we're not going to hire you because of your planned vacation", then it's not a place I want to wo...

re: EDIT: Should employees be allowed unpaid leave if their work is covered? - TexasTiger1984
I asked my boss of one of my first jobs about unpaid leave. He said that if there was ever a day where they managed without me to not even bother coming back.
That's asinine. If you work for a company that can't live without you for a day, then it's a terribly run business. ...

re: Grass question - TexasTiger1984
Google image brown patch and see if it looks similar to your yard. Happens when there is too much water/rain and it can't dry properly (at least that was what I was told when my yard got it last year). If not brown patch, it could be cinch bugs....

re: How did you cure your GERD? UPDATE about dreams in OP - TexasTiger1984
I stopped taking Pantoprozole for about a month because I was too lazy to get it filled. Started having problems shortly there after. Got it refilled and started taking it again and haven't had a problem since. The only possible side effect my doctor told me about is that you're more susceptibl...

re: I need a good pellet gun... - TexasTiger1984
I had a break barel .22 from academy from about $130. It would get the job done on backyard squirrels and doves but it would never hold zero. Finally pissed me off enough to bet a Benjamin Marauder PCP .25 cal. This is a badass gun that people actually use to take down deer and hogs. Overkill for ci...

I know it says negligent homicide but what exactly does that mean. The definition is as follows: (1) The killing of a human being by criminal negligence But again, what is "criminal" negligence? I guess what I'm getting at is, did he mean to shoot him or was it an accident caused by negligen...
