Spousel unit has a big pot of vegetable soup on the stove and gonna match it with a nice salad, complemented with a glass of Cab Sauv. Cuuurrrrssssss light to set up feast. Side note, stayed home all day. Gonna get the feathered flyers tomorrow, now that the deluge has passed. Watcha cooking.

Just cooked a big pot of vegetable soup here.
Wound up having not made a single duck hunt so far. Have one scheduled for third week of the month as part of work. I've got to spend two separate full weeks out in Sacramento for some professional accreditation, and that might be the only hunt I make.

Chili. Went skating on the lake with the kids, it seems like a chili kind of night. Really nice sunset, some awesome alpenglow on the mountains.

Every picture you post plus everyday it does nothing here but rain, makes me want to move to Alaska more and more. But I don't really like the cold.

The cold really hasn't been a problem. In fact, many parts of the State have no snow. We're running a good 5 degrees warmer than normal this winter.
