And that's what I am talking about... GOOD For you.... Miles took over what Saban left him and done pretty good... I AGREE,,,,,I AGREE.............

BUT at the same time Sabans recruits had more of an influence on winning in 2007 than Miles recruits did....

No one is bashing anything Saban did for LSU, I would hope all would be appreciative.

Saban's tenure at LSU has been pivotal for the last 15 years. Saban has grown as a coach through his LSU and Dolphin's phases. Unfortunately Bama is the beneficiary of his growth as a coach.

That being said, you do not have to worship at Saban's alter nor do you have to bash Miles to express your opinion about LSU in 2005.

My ranking would go like this:

Rankings seem to forget the facts in 2005. Miami and Nebraska were premier programs then. Most lists seem to not include Nebraska.

Also, Georgia was a bigger program in SEC. Even better than Florida. Richt was the next hot coach in college football.

Certainly we delude ourselves by ignoring other conferences. Particularly PAC10 and Big East. Washing was still considered a premier program along with Va Tech.

Also, do not ignore perennial inclusion in these lists - Notredame.

Stud athletes don't always win titles, just as winning a title doesn't make one a stud athlete

Just playing with these fools who think he sucked here

C'mon man. No one ever said that.

Even threads like 'how did 2001 team lose 3 games' are tongue in cheek answers to the crowd that wonders how LSU lost games last years - while watching heroics in NFL by LSU players.

You should stop searching for Saban insults.

You have a hard time distinguishing it with Miles hate.

You need to check your arse status. You find a need to get involved anytime someone remotely castigates Saban or makes a case for Miles.

So you don't think Hester was very good??? Ok. Just cause he was recruited by Saban....

Did LSU win a title in 2003???

AND BTW tell me the ONE game that Rohan played in that was more important than the one JJ started on 9/12.........

There you go. Your hatred for Miles has caused you buy knee-pads for Saban. But do not confuse that with your fandom of LSU.

Try to stop thinking about Saban for two seconds. Hester us not a SERIOUS STUD because hes just not. I don't give a damn who recruited him.

Your hatred for Miles

I don't hate Miles... Its just time for a fresh start... He has done well here... But the QB development that is supposed to go along with ALL this so-called talent is disturbing... His time is done and its time to move on... SORRY that in your eyes that's hatred.......

This list was particular to 2005 and the years leading up to it. I included Georgia in the OP so you can see for yourself how they compared. If you would like me to include Nebraska or any others I'll be glad to.

Fisher being Promoted would have been a much better hire in 05, and that would have probably have kept the Coaching Staff all in tact with the exception of course being Satan

If you really think that Miles only won with Saban's players, then Saban has 2 sec titles (2012&2014) and 1 national title (2012).the other titles were won with Dinardo and Shula's players.

Wow. Wins and titles are a TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENT.
Using your logic, Hester was a better rb than Adrian Peterson and Barry Sanders because neither rb helped win a title.
