Copeland couched up the football on the 1 yard line against Bama
OBJ took a fricking punt off the helmet against UGA (but can make a three finger catch while being tackled for the giants)
Mett threw into triple coverage 3 times against Ole Miss.
Long story short Les Miles, because frick it.

OBJ
UGA put up 44 on us. And when we finally made a stop and had a chance to get the ball back, OBJ muffs a punt, UGA recovers it and goes up by 7. Huge swing.

Hill
Threw 3 INTs in the 1st half vs Ole Miss. Hill fumbled, but recovered it, and Miles still benched him vs Ole Miss.

Copeland
We drive the ball down Bamas throat on the 1st possession, and Cooeland fumbles the ball on the 1 yard line and Bama recovers it. Next possession, Mett fumbles the snap and Bama recovers it.
Why is it so hard for people to understand that even though most of those guys are doing great in the NFL and were great for us here, they still are human and made mistakes at LSU and will make mistakes in the future. Just because they are doing great in the NFL doesn't mean they never messed up here or haven't messed up in the NFL.

Our coaches didn't USE the weapons at hand to the fullest; plain and simple.
Trying not to lose, is not the same as trying to WIN !!!

Yet in every instance listed above this ignorant post, you can read about our WEAPONS literally choking when they were used.
Another miserable fan, another smile across my face.

That damn Charles McClendon should have been fired in 1963.
I mean, Billy Truax became an excellent pass catching tight end in the NFL for the Rams and the Cowboys.
McClendon used him as a blocker. Whey the hell didn't he open up the offense?

Mett played like crap in 1st half against Ole Miss and defense could not make a stop late. Our defense sucked against Ga. and Mett could not move the team downfield on last drive. Miles wasn't smart enough to see that Ala. was going to fake FG mid-way thru 3rd qtr on 4th down and it was down hill after that. We were fortunate to beat Ark. in last game on 99 yard drive or we could have lost 4 games. On another note if we had played Auburn later in the season they would have probably beat us as well. There's the gloom and doom for today...

There it is. I knew some asshat would come up with that as an excuse
We played all last season with a mediocre middle linebacker in Welter playing. We went the first part of this season with that same mediocre linebacker. During that entire time our defense was gashed. When this guy was finally replaced, our defense suddenly got better. It's Les Miles fault that this guy wasn't replaced sooner. It's Les Miles fault for offering and starting a guy not sec caliber.
Also to get in to in game coaching. The coaches 100% lost the Olé Miss game. We run the ball, we win that game easily. That's a game where we didn't stick what was working. Ole moss kept the safeties back because they were scared of our receivers and we could've easily gashed them all game. I'm guessing you can put the blame on Mett or Cam, but I'll stick with the guy who is making 4+ million dollars a year who creates ways to lose games every year.

I'll agree with you that Welter lacks the athletic ability that Beckwith has, but don't try to make it sound like every time Beckwith was on the field the defense played lights out. Beckwith had his fair share of struggles this past season as well. As far as the coaching goes, you pick out one of Miles failures, but you seem reluctant to give the man any credit for games won.

The other team scored more points than us.
