The o-line was great against UGA imo. Ole Miss was a cluster and the team went in thinking they were gonna roll them.

Bama was just a game in where LSU players just quit... A shame.

The LSU offense was one of the reasons (inconsistent) and Les Miles was the second. LSU defense was stout as usual. LSU has Coach Chavis and that is a plus. He is one of the best.

Yeah you nitwit, the last trip was abject humiliation.
Since then we're in a tail slide. 6-2, 5-3 & now 4-4 in the SEC and off to the turd bowl on a Tuesday afternoon...

The more talent we have the worse we've done. Somebody graph our W-L record vs. # of players drafted in the NFL since 2005.

The numbers don't lie.

It is called hard head football. I don't care if there are 9 men in the box I am going to run the ball. I don't care if they leave one receiver uncovered I am going to run the football. If I do throw the ball I will throw it to Dural even if he is double or triple covered and another receiver is running free. HARD HEAD football.

"DUH!!! How we loose dem games wid all dem grate NFL playahs!"

Jesus Christ, it amazes me how fricking stupid people can be.

Amazingly, this board is outdoing itself.

I mean, how did Syracuse finish only 16-9 from 1954-1956 when they had maybe the greatest player in NFL history in the backfield for them?

Defense was suspect last year, but there was some serious talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Les Miles is our coach.
There it is. I knew some asshat would come up with that as an excuse. I'm sure in your eyes, Miles had absolutely nothing to do with all the games that LSU won that year.

The 2013 offense had Mett, Landry, OBJ and Hill among others. The offense was not the problem other then the Ole Miss game. As far as Les Miles goes, there are enough so called "LSU fans" that come on here and bash him, we don't need any fricking gumps on here to do it.

We fit our players into the system. We may want to consider fitting the system to the personnel.

Why did you list the second string fullback on there? By mid season Conner Neighbors had unseated Copeland.

The answer to your question is that our defense was very weak, and our QB, while very good, did not perform in the clutch.

They closed Redemptorist because they couldn't win with Hill and Collins. Hope they don't do the same to LSU.

Defense was far from your typical lsu defense. And never will forget the OBJ fumble against Georgia. Also offense was far from a failure was the greatest offense that I ever remember at LSU and really nobody else was close, but seemed like last year we rarely got away with a turnover.

re: Could someone please tell me how we lost 3 games last year (2013)?

Miss OP:

On September 28th,Georgia scored 44 points and LSU had only 41 points.
On October 19th, Ole Miss scored 27 points, LSU scored only 24 points.
On November 9th, Alabama scored 38 points and LSU scored only 17 points.

You see, in CFB, the team with the lesser amount of points at the end of the game is judged to be the loser. So that's how LSU lost three games.

Hope this helps.
