Player option that a lot of people expect he'll opt out of. Green would be easy to keep if you're willing to pay him. Why wouldn't he want to play on an up and coming team after being exiled in Boston?

Rivers is an UFA at the end of the year. We declined his option. We are essentially at the "1 year rental" point with him as well.

Assuming the Green rumors are true and assuming Gordon comes back this year, if Monty can't figure out how to stagger a top 7 of Davis, Anderson, Gordon, Reke, Jrue, Green, and Asik, that's a fireable offense in itself.
ETA: Frick staggering, if he can't get into the playoffs this year with those 7, he should be banned from the NBA.
