Butch Davis or Schiano would do well there.

I'd definitely give Greg Schiano a call.

Hell, call Russ Grimm and ask if he's interested, then give the job to someone else.

Pitt is a dead end. I'd be scared to try to use it as a stepping stone if I was trying to build a career.

Stepping stone? Pitt has had shitty coaches. All Pitt needs is a high profile coach that can recruit Pennsylvania, Ohio and Fla. They would be a beast. shite Chryst's nephew did not even want to play for him. Schism I with NJ ties and anyone with Penn contacts would be huge.

I think Pelini would do well there. His firey, hard-noses demeanor would mesh well with the fans in that town, and it's not far from his old stomping grounds.

My first call would be Pelini. Seems like most Pitt fans think they will not open the bank for a splash hire.
