I live in the DC metro area, and I *love* where taxpayer money is going. It's no accident that five of the top ten counties with the highest household income are right here.

Not only that but when most of the country was contracting, Nova et al was expanding.

That traffic blows though so there's some payback

I don't have an issue with tax rates in general, but I think we need to really look at how we spend tax money. We spend way too much on short term solutions and handouts and not nearly enough on long term education things that will really prevent crime.

What I hate is the waste. Too many pointless, inefficient projects protected by politicians....ie, bridges to nowhere. Fund NASA, education, the NSF and NIH....forget the subsidizing of the domestic sugar industry and arming local police departments as though they're mini armies.

Not if you make sure you go against traffic to get to work.

Feel free to pick this book.

Wastebook 2014-Tom Coburn

I'm particularly interested in this one.

Ain't gonna lie, that sounds like complete bullshite to me. I would put a lot of money on anyone willing to bet whether the US government spent $90 million on nose flutists in 2014. (shouldn't it be "flautist?)

I don't know man. I did my fiancee a favor and drove her, the mom and sister to a bridal shop on a Saturday from Manassas to Alexandria.

It was a cluster

Yeah. Saturday traffic is no fun. You live around here or just visiting?

I tend to stay around western Fairfax county. Everything I need is here.

My fiancee is from there and I'll be back up for Christmas. Try to get there 1 to 2 times a year.
