Rockets #10 I am still dumbfounded at Hollinger Rankings. I thought I had it figured out (margin of victory and SOS) but apparently that isnt so much the case according to the most recent rankings.

Look at strength of sched for :Hawks, Spurs, Portland.

Im starting to think it takes last 10 games most predominantly into account. Does anyone know if it uses the PER Hollinger created?

1, Warriors
2. Clips
3. Grizz
4. Cavs
5. Spurs
6. Raptors
7. Mavericks
8. Bulls
9. Hawks
10. Rockets
11. Blazers
12. Thunder
13. Wizards
14. Pelicans
15. Bucks

No it doesn't have anything to do with PER. It is heavily based on SOS, margin of victory, and last 10 games.

Harden was just named Western Conference player of the week.

How do you get a one number fantasy basketball score? No stat categories?

Just depends on whether you have faith in the playoff rockets... I do not.

SOS, margin of victory IN THE LAST 10 GAMES it seems. Just look at season SOS, season margin of victory, and that should make some definite changes. Based on season SOS, records and margin I'd rank them this way.

1. Golden State
2. Memphis
3. Los Angeles Clippers
4. Toronto
5. Houston
6. Dallas
7. San Antonio
8. Cleveland
9. Chicago
10. Atlanta

Its just infuriating when teams like Cleveland lose 2 games in a row, and their rating goes up, and the Rockets win 2 games in a row and their rating goes DOWN.

It's just a formula, nothing to get upset about.

I'd put more stock into Mark Steins rankings that have HOU as the #3 team as of today.
