It is their right to protest....it's called freedom of speech!!!

It is also every one else's right not to support that organization....in any way. That includes not buying tickets or jerseys...and not supporting any of the corporate sponsors of the Rams. This is the only way we can take America back from the racist radicals who have taken over!!!

St. Louis has proactively been doing this since Warner left town. We all knew this day would come, I guess.

Why would they? I don't agree with it and they made themselves look like uninformed idiots, but it is their right.

Plus they are about to move to the liberal mecca of LA, don't want to be pissing of the liberals, they are going to need that $$$ to pay for the $1.8 billion ( ) stadium.

I wonder the reaction if one player pretended to "rush at" another. The second player pretends to shoot him several times. The first player falls and "plays dead"

I mean, freedom of speech / demonstration and all

I actually have no issue with what they did...other than the enduring symbolism is based on erroneous information.

I am just wondering the reaction if it were to be done by the "other side"

I don't care about any apology. The idiots who did that don't regret it, so an apology wouldn't mean anything.

For anybody who wants to send a message to the Rams organization, the appropriate response would be to boycott the next home game. I know many of those tickets have already been paid for, but it would still make an impact.

Not only that, the message would be heard loud and clear.

Since the hands up, don't shoot me scenario never transpired according to a jury, why do people continue acting as if it did?

If it were done by the owner, said owner would be forced out of the league (i.e. forfeiture of property)

The big reason I watch sports is to escape politics and the dumb shite that goes along with it. This is simply another turn off for me and pushes me a little further from the NFL. There is no way in hell I could support that team in any way.

Saving that for TD celebration.

It only makes them look like misinformed idiots that are easily led by the nose.

Meh. If the owners are ok with their protest while in uniform, doesn't matter what they were wearing. I'm actually pleased that ownership recognizes their right to expression and isn't pandering with a forced apology. Why are Americans so obsessed with apologies anyway? Just words.

Yeah. I'm content with them merely looking like morons doing it.
