What does going to 1-AAA do for UAB?

Last I heard they had private donations secured to raise money and salaries

Bama doesn't feel the need to share that precious Saban salary $$$ with some peasant school.

Will people of Birmingham and Alabama let it happen this easy?

I thought there were some high rollers in Birmingham that supported UAB and had dealings w BOT members

Where does the coach go next? Seems to be a quickly rising star.

U of A system shuts down all other schools outside of t-town and gives all the pooled money to Saban.

And Paul Bryant, Jr. runs the BOT from everything I've heard from friends in Alabama. He was the main reason UAB could never get a named HC, he kept a tight grip on the purse strings; again, from same friends.
