Is this the best executed play in modern NBA or the best ever?

yeah it's getting a lot of love, but damn that play is just a thing of beauty.

I want to hear the Spurs are boring argument from someone. Also, Tim Duncan is clearly the greatest player of his generation (Shaq,Kobe,KG,etc.)

their "boring" image was shed like 3-4 years ago

the people who call the spurs boring are the same people who think you saw basketball like the clip in the OP in jordan's era

that spurs team in the late playoffs last year was on another level

I still hear it from some NBA fans, mostly Laker fans or fans who like teams such as 04 Pistons(the guys who like "hustle/defense" banging type stuff).

If this is Duncan's last year, I kind of want to see a repeat(obviously if the Pels don't make the playoffs).

Also, don't lets the Spurs get a big like Monroe, Aldridge or Marc Gasol next summer. They could continue this run until the end of the decade if they do.

They really are a disgusting team. Honest question, this hasn't always been their offense. Is this just Pop evolving as an offensive coach, development of key pieces in the offense, or a combination of the two?

I lean towards #3, but damn Pop can coach.

Damn, Aldridge or Gasol to replace Duncan would be unfair. Gasol would be tough though since Splitter would be making 9 million a year playing 15 minutes a game.

it's an evolution for sure, but that's why Pop is a better coach than Phil Jackson.

Sad thing is if Diaw misses that shot, you'd never see that play again.

very true, sometimes the end product (scoring) is secondary.

IMO, the only time the ball should be watched is when it is passed otherwise, watching the movement away from the ball is the best way to look at the game.

not that great a play. Its just Derek Fisher being his typical self(one of the worst defensive players of this generation)

that's funny because guys like Zach Lowe called it the play of the year last season....and fisher couldn't have done anything to stop it regardless.Ibaka would have still helped to the middle.
