Gonna start this way early as I know I won't have time later.

Duck blind on my lease 7 acre pond. Me, my 6 and 7 year old boys, and my pup. Looking for one limit and some memories.

Good luck today and let's all take a second to give thanks for family friends and the ability to enjoy the outdoors.

Happy Thanksgiving BP. Had some of the best times my Dad hunting birds on Thanksgiving morning. What I would do just to be able to make just one more hunt with him. Maybe in the after life.

Kicked the idea of going hunting, but I'm going to pass.

Feeling good this morning for a change.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving gentlemen.

Oh the memories...we never hunted birds Thanksgiving morning when growing up. We would always leave to head to the camp in Grand Chenier right after lunch. The joy of eating a cold leftover turkey sandwich in the blinds was second to none.

I can't wait to start making memories with our two sons.

37 degrees with the hardest 7 mph wind known to man (weather app said 7, I say 20) chilly with the wind.
Up the open box again looking down into a ridge.

Killed a 6 one year ago today around 7:30 in this stand, hoping his daddy shows up today.

Good luck out there and stay safe fellas

With my boys at my cousin's place near Carthage, MS. Perfect morning-I can hear the dogs baying for miles.

First hunt this year-some dumbarse (me) moved my binoculars out of my pack. I did find my 2013 vintage Lances cheese crackers.

Lock on in the corner of a cut bean field kicking myself for over sleeping. Had 2 does and my big buck here at 607. Going to use this as leverage against wife for keeping me at inlaws until 1230.

I'm stuck smoking a turkey for my wife's family.

I don't mind helping them out but I swear this always happens. The day I can't go is the absolute best weather wise it's been all week.
