I think the team could use some playoff experience with certain positions.

What positions? The only place where we are young and without playoff experience is DB and we should be more concerned with replacing 80% of them in the offseason than them getting experience.

Give me the pick. 2011 Giants >>>> Corey White, PRob, Brian Dixon, Kenny Vaccaro, Pierre Warren, Marcus Ball, hurt Keenan.

I want them to. I love watching the saints play no matter what their record. Making the playoffs means I get to watch another game. Making the playoffs means they have a chance (albeit slim) to win the whole damn thing.

Hell yes. I'd buy a shirt for each day of the week if it said:

NFC SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPION
SAINTS 6-10

Why? It would be embarrassing and a "one-and-done".

You don't think the Saints could beat a team like Detroit in the Dome?

We'd be favored. Who knows what would happen in the playoffs, Drew Brees is one of the greatest playoff QBs to ever live

Too bad our defense would be the most depleted in the playoffs.

Going up against solid interior lineman would be the end of us.

I want to see it, but if we go in at 6-10, I honestly rather not make it.

That means we're going 2-3 over the last 5 games (Carolina, Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Chicago, and Pittsburgh)

Beating 2 division opponents and losing to an "eh" Chicago team that SUCKS arse at home, a strong AFC team in Pittsburgh, and losing to one of the 3 other suckage teams doesn't give me much hope at all.

I would love the opportunity for a 6-10 saints team to beat an 11 win NFC team. That would be funny as hell.

We could get hot win some down the stretch. Our last 4 games aren't hard. This was a bad year with a hard schedule.

We would get the chance to piss off another fan base if we won a playoff game too. So many people melted when he had to go up to Seattle to face a menacing 7-9 Seahawks team. Man, thinking back Roman Harper played so good John Carlson caught 2 TD's. One of them he was so wide open he was almost doing jumping jacks in the end zone.

this just isn't an enjoyable team to watch at all.

outside of the Green Bay game.. this season hasn't been that much fun.

you look at how how we've lost a lot of these games... late in the 4th quarter with a turnover or a meltdown on defense. Or both.

the Saints haven't really gotten out to a lot of the fast starts like the use to also. I guess the Vikings and the Bucs game they did but then Tampa rallied and took it to overtime.... in the freaking Dome!!!

I mean if you had told me that this division was going to be the worst in the league at the beginning of the year... I'd say that it would have to be ours for the taking.

just never imagined we'd be three games below .500 at Thanksgiving.

I'm okay with it if they make it... sure. But after watching these maddening finishes all year... I don't know if I could get up for a playoff game with a lot of enthusiasm.

you sitting there just trying to enjoy the game but in the back of your mind you're thinking.. okay... when 's the melt coming.

i don't like thinking that way but its just there.

playoff football has a different intensity and I've only seen the Saints play at that level once this year. The Packers game.

there are other times when you see it for a few drives offensively and then maybe a few plays on defense but then giving up 3rd and longs can really just make you say frick it!

I'd always enjoy one extra game, but don't tell me none of you would be tempted with 6-10 and the #8-10 pick.

Amari Cooper
La'El Collins

two players that can change the dynamics of this offense the second they play.

well yeah.. sure.

but apart of me also gets nervous with the idea of higher draft pick.

the last time I was truly excited about a 1st rounder was Reggie Bush. And with him came that high expectation... and he did a lot of great things for us I thought.

then you have the crowd on here that thought he didn't do enough. Its crazy.

we miss having guys like Reggie and Sproles I think.

shite, there was an idiot (and a few less vocal idiots) calling for Sean Payton to be fired.

The reasoning was that he's a top 10 coach, but its better to get out early since he's trending towards rock bottom

The same idiots that crucify Brees and CSP for losses in the regular seasons will crucify them if we make it to the playoffs and lose.

"WE SHOULD HAVE JUST KEPT THE 10th pick!11!1!!!1!"

i think a lot of that is just hyperbole.

Hope.

hope its just an internet funny man dealing with a loss in his own way.

I've said some dumb shite on here before but nothing quite like that

He stood his ground with a tidal wave of stats that disputed nearly everything he said. I'm not sure if he's just crazy or should e commended for letting me feel better about the Saints
