The Saints fan in me wants them to go to the Super Bowl. The football fan in me says they dont deserve it.

no

and not just for the draft pick...5 wins won't get payton fired, but he'll be forced to get rid of his position coaches on defense who've done an awful job with talent. Of course, maybe trade one ryan for another (one can dream)

I don't want us to make the playoffs. I'd rather not hang a 6-10 NFC South banner

I think it would be a good idea to hang that sh!t rag in the dome actually.

I believe it would make for a fine reminder to the team for years to come.

6 wins will still get people fired even if we make the playoffs.

And of course I want to make it still. We have played 3 straight playoff caliber teams. Last 2 have been ugly but this is a week to week league.

Why are we only a 3 point dog on the road against a 7-4 team next week? I mean Antonio brown alone should be able to beat us. We have just as good of a shot at winning Sunday as Baltimore did last night.

I would say no, we don't deserve to, but the Falcons and Panthers deserve to even less.

I'm pro-playoffs, but the prospect of getting someone like Amari Cooper or La'El Collins isn't attractive enough to anyone?

And I know that's not a good fan thing to say, but its true.

I don't think it makes you a bad fan, this just isn't an enjoyable team to watch at all. Maybe they'll get hot and my tune will change but with injuries mounting on a struggling defense, the OL playing like dog shite, and a total lack of playmakers on offense outside of jimmy it's tough to envision them knocking anyone out, we can't even count on playing one in the dome as a win anymore.

Yup and "we can beat anyone in the dome" doesn't mean much when we just lost 3 in a row at home.

Sure we can, but we can beat anyone on the road?

Depends on the manner. If we miraculously get hot and win the rest of our games, sure as hell I want us to make it. If the NFC South continues to blow and we fall into it with 5 or 6 wins, hell no.

The Giants were a 6 loss team at this point in the season.

And they lost 4 in a row towards the latter half of the season. I'm not saying we're just like them it was just a reference to show that anything can happen.

Sure anything can happen, but the Giants were more of an anomaly

I think the team could use some playoff experience with certain positions. Also agree with whoever said "2011 Giants."
