He had yet another chance to lead, another chance to bring a nation together. I disagree with him politically, I was hoping he would lead sadly again I was disappointed.

The job, the country, domestic issues, foreign policy, terrorism, the world writ large... it's all so over his head.

He's just so terribly inexperienced and politically motivated. All he knows how to do is be a community activist, and he's a lousy one at that.

Even with the issues this country faces, this guy could have been epic, sadly he has no leadership abilities.

You serious Clark?

So as a constitutional scholar one would assume he knows the threshold for evidence is much lower in a grand jury versus a trial.

One could assume as a leader of an entire nation he could have spoke to that fact.

One could assume he could try to lead a nation, particularly in light of the fact his DOJ and Holder flew an army of federal personnel into Ferguson to ensure everything was on the up and up.

One could also assume he could have made comments to ensure people understood this was not an racial verdict.

Sadly we are leaderless.

He's pretty typical of what you get when you hire based on looks. Has no fricking clue what he's doing and unfortunately he's in charge of the whole damn ship and we are sinking fast.

God forbid, oh Im sorry, Allah forbid him coming out saying to the nation to be calm regardless of the verdict. We are are one nation under laws and help calm the situation nationwide. Nooooo. That would take leadership qualities.

Obama also said during his presser that the negative reaction would make for good TV. Why he even said that blew my mind.

There's obviously some truth to the good TV remark, as this board clearly shows. But it would be nice to have a POTUS with more class and maturity than an anonymous college football message board.

Disappointed myself but not surprised. I hate to say this but with his 'approval' and 'likeability' ratings in the tank he had to placate the black demographic. Stating that justice was served and the American judicial system worked would have alienated many blacks. And that, imho, is what is truly sad. My hopes and prayers are that one day before I die we will be over this race stuff. Sadly, I am afraid I will be disappointed there as well.

If he hadn't burned all his gravitas it surely could have.

Both Obama and Holder could have been out in front of the situation attempting to calm things and yet neither of them has ever tried to calm a situation. They are agitators not resolvers. It is all they know.
