Undefeated. They have 9 McDonalds All-Americans, the Lakers have 6!

Yea, Bill Self has that shite-eating grin all the time anyway so perhaps he deserved it.

They'll lose to LSU in the Ice Dome.

UK is very good. The only way they'll lose in a game where they care is if the other team shoots lights out from 3 and has a post player as well, who can keep the defense honest.

However, Kansas is by no means the number 5 team in the country.

Kentucky is damn good this year. Definitely the deepest college basketball team I've ever seen. Going undefeated would not surprise me.

I was pretty impressed with Duke last night as well. Would love to see Okafor against Kentucky.

Yeah they just beat down a top 5 team. Wouldn't be surprised if they only had one loss in the regular season.

They are nasty

and honestly they have not dodged good team in their schedule.

Kansas, UNC, Texas and the perennial Louisville game are legit.

ehhh, not really that important to last night's performance for kentucky IMO. if they aren't 5, they are going to be very close to it. the win last night is just as meaningful if kansas is actually the 9th best team or whatever they may be.

i am excited to see kentucky play a team with a better post presence. still think they will dominate, just wanna enjoy watching that.

I know he's not the best X's and O's guy. But he is pretty good at coaching young kids defense in a short amount of time and getting guys to buy in despite the ego. IMO that's all apart of coaching.

This.

He is kind of Saban-esque. Great program manager and talent accumulator, but not necessarily a gameday beast.

I saw somewhere that they are 2-1 to go undefeated all year.

I think they lose 2 or so games this year. Young players on a great roll might overlook some teams they shouldn't have.

I can also see them going unbeaten if they stay on track. I can see them dropping 5 or so if they fail to mesh during the season.

Whatever happens there is a ton of talent on the Kentucky team and I expect their fans are in for a treat this season.

With who? And I only ask because this is probably the most selfless team I've seen Cal coach to this point.

As long as nobody gets pissed about playing time, they should dominate the frick out of CBB. Trying to get meaningful minutes for all that talent will be Cal's only issue IMO.

They'll lose to Wisconsin in the Final Four or National Championship.

They would dice and slice the likes of Wisconsin into itsy-bitsy pieces of moldy cheese.

Undefeated NCs is where Big Blue is headed.
