What is most OB'ers opinion on bringing their s/o to the deerstand with them?

I'm under the belief that this is my time to get away from everybody and relax and enjoy being in the outdoors and not having to worry about anything but hunting

I have a great wife and she loves going to the camp but doesn't care for going hunting

What say you?

The wife and I hunt but not in the same stand together. In the past we tried it but it just doesn't work haha. At the moment she is in her stand and I'm in mine. She doesn't like hunting with me so it all works out

I would rather be alone in the outdoors. I don't care to carry on conversation.

Last time mine went she sat and the truck and read a book.

She saw 3 deer, I saw 0 and froze my arse :)

I should have been in truck hitting it and peeking over the window

That's seems to happen more when you are dating rather than married for a while...

Why even go if she is going to tag along?

I like to be alone with my thoughts and the TD outdoors page. Plus I like being comfortable in the stand. But I'll bring my wife to the camp and put her in her own stand. Normally she kills a deer before I do every year and that gets my season started. If nothing is seen today she will be here next time to continue that tradition. Plus sex in the outdoors when we take lunch isn't too shabby either.

My wife of 10 years has been hunting with me 1 time. Now fishing is different. She's been fishing with me 2 times.

Had a girl years before I met my wife that liked going hunting with me. Not sure if I ever loaded my gun when she tagged along.

I have no interest in bringing my wife hunting and she has no interest in coming.

Works out great

For some it's just the opposite.
My wife's belove grandmammy told her after marriage...anything goes, even the "nasty stuff", and told her that if she didn't want me to stray, never turn me down. Preacher basically said the same during our pre marriage counseling.
