Is Pam trashy?

Is in non stick cooking spray. I use a fair amount of Pam so probably.

Got some of that at the camp. It's Crisco brand in a new fangled can. No way in hell it's trashy.

Pam is far and away the best product of its type. I've tried others and never achieve the non-stick properties that I get with Pam.

I used a spritz of Pam this morning, to grease a loaf pan. But that's the only time I use it---oiling a baking pan.

I blasted my griddle before I cooked an omelet this morning. It performed excellent. But it brought to mind that I may be doing something akin to eating canned vegtables with velvetta and a side of cool whip.

I mostly use it to spray the pyrex dish I use when making meatloaf. I do not see it as trashy.

Spelling it velvetta, otoh ...
