My only gripe is that pretty much all they have are oysters.

Oh, I'll definitely give it a try. I usually give places 2 tries, once when they first open, and once after the kinks should be worked out.

Those aren't bad prices for West/East coast oysters.

I actually appreciate the ballsiness of that. It will be interesting to see if they can sustain it.

Agreed. I'm looking forward to it. Despite the off-putting name.

Every time I've traveled to the coasts I've thought how nice it would be to get those oysters here. A very welcome addition to the landscape backed by done good BR guys.

My gripe is that it is an ugly ugly interior.

Yeah, I'll probably do a couple dozen raw from the East & West coasts, and some chargrilled, NO bbq, and brie/bacon.

I'll bring Miss C in a few weeks, I lived outside of Boston for a very short stint where there was a restaurant that would have anywhere 12-20 different oysters around from the world, they had a sample plate where you could try 1-2 of each, it was pretty interesting to taste the difference, I'm partial to gulf oysters, however the size of some of the East coast oysters are impressive

Agree. If I lived in B.R. (suspension of disbelief required), I would definitely give it a shot. I like different varieties of oysters. Hard to say how often I'd go. The question is will enough people go regularly enough for oysters so that they make a go of it.
