The Naked Roy oysters are excellent and a steal for $1.50 each, and the James River for $1 each are good as well

I'd tear into the EC varieties ...I've yet to taste a WC oyster that I'd order again.

Jolie is the original name of the building. The owners are good people, they will do well.

Have you ever had Naked Roys before? I really like them.

As for the 20-cent specials at Mike Anderson's and Drusilla, not sure if you were bring sarcastic or not, but I don't think that's accurate.

Never had them. I've had EC oysters in Boston, origin unknown that were very good, North Carolina oysters that were awesome, and Nova Scotia oysters that were pretty damn good.

I've had them. One of the better varieties of oysters I've had. I'm surprised they're so cheap there.

I would definitely go but an oyster only establishment doesn't seem all that successful. So many people hate oysters.

Not sure if serious

Don't get me wrong, I love oysters. Still, I typically think of them as appetizer fare. I just wish they had some other offerings, similar to Casamento's.

Had lunch there. Best Oysters Rockefeller I've ever had. Really good muffuletta sandwich, too. They will do great on months with an R. Maybe they can do soft shell crabs or crawfish in the spring and summer.

I will now go back for the east and west coast raw oysters. I really liked the decor. Good atmosphere and bartenders with plenty of.... Talent.

Should not be an issue with non-gulf oysters. Right?

Knowing the owners, I am not surprised. I will definitely check them out next week.

Are the owners in business elsewhere, too?

Best Oysters Rockefeller you've ever had? Damn, that's a strong statement my friend. I'm off on November 4 so I'll probably check em out for lunch if they're open.

When I see "Lagniappe" on a menu, I know I'm in for a treat!
