Sooting big bucks is a personal preference PERIOD. I am sick and tiered of horn porn. Yes there are some small bucks in here but who cares, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I hunt in Washington parish and if we see a deer every 3 hunts we are doing well. The rules in the club are it's brown it's down, everyone has fun and understands the rules. I own a farm in IL and if someone shoots something less than 150" they won't be invited back. Nothing wrong with either place or rule so long as everyone hunting enjoys it and is in agreement. I can't stand the why did you shoot that when someone is proud enough of it to put a picture on the internet. If you don't like it don't shoot it and don't look at the damn picture.

Some of the kills on here are just flat out embarassing.

Able to make a duck hunt while we visited family in Louisiana for Thanksgiving.

My "embarrassing" deer from this year. This is the first deer killed with my bow in 13 years (due to lack of time and hunting property). First one on a small piece of property we have permission to hunt and it had me more exited than........

This was my "non-embarrassing" personal best in killed in 2012 on a different piece of property that we have managed and started shooting much bigger deer, but still never thought this would be out there.

Kansas.

Thanks.

A friend owns some land that I was fortunate enough to get to hunt for a few days last week.

Thanks. It was raining, windy and cold that morning, and nobody else went out. Only time I've hunted all day without ever leaving the stand.

I filled my piss jug at 3:40, and my tag at 4:40.

I haven't been paying enough attention to this thread. They have some stud deer in here. More so than years past.

Is the hunting getting better or is the OB just that much more popular?

I am putting my first gambel's quail in here because to me it is an 'exotic' bird:
