Obama has appointed nothing but political hacks to key posts. Historically, the VP's Chief of Staff has been someone the administration puts in that post to keep a muzzle on the VP. This guy hasn't even been able to keep the moron Biden out of trouble. So sure, why not put him in charge of preventing a monumental public health disaster? Even with a Republican House and Senate, I'm not convinced we will survive 2 more years of Obamarama.

Some Republicans would have us believe a "life saving doctor" is better qualified to be in Congress than a career politician - so why isn't the reverse true?

A farmer with no formal education is better to 'serve' the public than a "career politician", i.e., a white collar criminal.

1. Having career(dynastic)politicians in Congress is a good thing?
2. Ideological purity trumps ability?
3. Can we expect that he will be as impressive in his results as Julia Pierson?
4. What about Eric Shinseki? He is good with medical stuff.

And some Democrats would have us believe that a lobbyist is better qualified to handle a disease outbreak than a doctor.

I found it really strange that Obama cancelled fundraisers(though checks are still coming in)for this.

His internal poll numbers must really be awful.

Chris Stirewalt FOX New Digital Editor just told Megyn Kelly that Klain is there to keep a lid on the leakers-the career bureaucrats who are not happy with the Administration response to this. In other words to be an Enforcer of the Party Line.

Makes perfect sense.
