I prefer mine to be in the fridge but my wife keeps it in the pantry.

I remember having this discussion years ago in college. Was a big point of contention.

BTW, we keep ours in the refrigerator. We don't use it that often.

I can handle room temp ketchup just fine, but my preference is easily cold.

Our family has always kept ketchup in the pantry. Same for mustard, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, worcestershire, etc.

Went to the in-laws recently, and they are just the opposite. Their damned fridge is jammed with condiments.

yeah, i don't like cold ketchup and then if you leave it out for a few minutes, it starts sweating.....
