They're a trash group for sure. They do know how to play to their old, white base though.

All I can say is my response was more in response to the "push through all his liberal agendas" which, if it were true, things would be very different than they are now. Just an easy one to show, Guantanamo Bay is still open.
As for the items you list specifically, it's the same crap that happens under both parties. Maybe not so much the "redistribution of wealth", but I have failed to see any of this take place (I mean Obama extended the Bush tax cuts in 2010) or the universal health care, which at this point I fail to ever see get overturned and will just become more cluttered as the Rs and Ds keep trying to make it "better" in their own ideas.

This is 100% true and is common of every Democrat controlled party. Hell, the left campaigns for these issues. Obamacare applies many regulations to small businesses that are crippling and cause stagnant wages, as well as private businesses will not hire or promote during a down economy among high government regulations. Obamacare has 22 increased regulations on small business alone. That's just in 1 bill.
